Sail CHS SLALOM X
The new Slalom x range must cover from 12 to 40+ knots.
From the 8.4m to the 5.4m they have all been redesigned to give a wider wind range.
SLALOM X
The PWA launched SlalomX at Pozo in 2024. It was a great success, adding new tension to high-wind slalom with the challenge of the “sausage jump.”
We are the first sail designers to develop a specific line of sails for SlalomX — which are also usable in IFCA events.
PWA rules allow just 3 sails to cover a wind range of 18 to over 40 knots. This is a major challenge with large rider weight differences.
That’s why our range includes 7.5m, 6.5m, 5.5m, and 5.0m. Lighter riders can start with 6.5m, while 85kg+ riders may prefer starting at 7.5m.
For light wind fans, we also include an 8.4m SlalomX sail.
Of course, these can be combined with Aero Slalom sails to find the perfect setup.
